About the Madman
Classy, fierce, and fabulous; that’s me. I have a penchant for style, intelligence, and class. I value honesty and integrity, good times, good food, good drink, and most important of all: good friends.
Professionally, I am a hard-working, dedicated HR professional. I’m a writer and a blogger, a social media enthusiast who finds it easy to get, understand, and leverage new and emerging technologies. I’ve worked for not-for-profits, corporations, and start-ups; I’ve done marketing, performance appraisals, and HR sales. All of the beats I’ve walked have given me a unique perspective of the HR industry and armed with the cross-functional skills and understanding required of the future of HR.
So enough about why you need me on your team. How about a little bit more about me?
I am a foodie. I absolutely, positively, adore all things culinary. I will eat almost anything – except calamari – and I will cook almost anything. I’ve made sushi, empanadas, sauerbraten, but I pride myself on my eggplant parm. And speaking of mad skillz, I’m an avid gamer too. RPGs are my true forte, but I dabble across genres. I play video games for one, main reason: it’s like an interactive story.
So stay a while. I think you’ll like you’ll find.

It is my pleasure to recommend Jonathan Hyland. I have known Jonathan for more than a year during which time he has worked as the Clinton Foundation’s Client Relationship Director at iCIMS. I have been consistently impressed with Jonathan’s aptitude and analytical abilities, not to mention his extremely impressive communication skills. Jonathan has helped us to achieve many of our goals and has provided strong leadership and support to our team as we have gone through changes in the past year. He is driven by results and has an uncanny ability to see the big picture, while working on the details. If you are looking for a person who can step into a problem and find creative solutions, you really can’t find anybody better! I recommend Jonathan without reservations, and am open to speaking further about his skills and abilities as I have witnessed them over the past year. – Daniel Mendieta, Sr. International Recruiter, William J. Jonathan is helpful and always willing to go the extra mile to find solutions to his clients needs. He continually follows up and remembers the specific needs and specialties of those he serves. He is an ambassador and great asset to his company. Thank you Jonathan for all the great service of the past years! Especially for my sunset picture on our ATS home page and for laughing at my silly email one liners… – Kathy Robinett, Recruiter at SafeNet
I worked with Jon for over a year while I was at iCIMS. Jon is very detail oriented and can always be counted on. It is very obvious from speaking with Jon that he has an exceptional education background. I know Jon to always give 100% and participate whenever called upon and then some. I would highly recommend Jon for any HR or client/candidate relations position. – Joe Gustis, fmr. iCIMS Solutions Consultant
