The Method of Madness

And welcome to my Madness. Not the Madness, or a Madness, but my Madness. Forgive the metaphor, but my mind is truly a chaotic place – a whirling vortex of thoughts and feelings, spinning, grinding endlessly within its own little self-contained universe. It’s like Pandemonium meets Top Chef – only slightly less hellish.

Truthfully, the Method of Madness is an incredibly appropriate title for my blog. I equate Madness simply to mean – and to reflect – the non-linear, myriad of my interests and how they happen to fall together. Yes, HR, the culinary arts, AND video games can accrete into quite the interesting subject matter. In other words, this blog is a self-expose and just how frickin’ awesome I can be. Tremble and ph33r!

Aside from my (occasional) self-aggrandizement, I’m here to share my passions with the world. I love to cook and there is, hands down, nothing better than a homemade dinner with friends. Video games are my escape, my chance to delve into worlds that exist only in fantasy. HR is my profession, and my Gen Y-ish idealism often puts me at odds with colleagues who have resigned themselves to cankles and mediocrity.

So why peer into my Madness? Despite the chaos, I’m convinced you’ll like what I put out. You’ll come away learning how to cook (I’m looking at you “I’m-a-straight-male-why-should-I-cook?”), definitely. Maybe enlightenment. I might piss you off or you may agree with me, but like I said at the beginning… I’m just here to share wonderful me with the world. Take me or leave me, baby.
